Welcome to Krrch. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Krrch mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Krrch ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Krrch. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
Krrch is designed for startup founders and entrepreneurs. You agree to use the Service only for legitimate professional networking and founder-related purposes.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You may delete your account at any time through the app Settings.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content in your profile or community posts
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- Spam, solicit, or advertise unrelated products or services
- Record, screenshot, or distribute video calls without the consent of all participants
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post on Krrch, including profile information, community posts, messages, and comments ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse any User Content and are not liable for content posted by users. We may remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.
5. Video Calls
Krrch facilitates live video calls between matched users. You acknowledge that:
- Video calls are between users; Krrch is not a party to any conversations or agreements made during calls.
- We do not record or store video or audio from calls.
- You are responsible for your conduct during calls and must treat other participants with respect.
- Technical issues may occasionally affect call quality; we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Sharing confidential business information during calls is at your own risk.
6. Matching and Connections
Our matchmaking algorithm pairs users based on profile data, call intent, and availability. We do not guarantee matches, call quality, or any particular outcome from using the Service. Intro requests through mutual connections are facilitated by users, not guaranteed by Krrch.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, code, logos, and branding, is owned by Krrch and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any user, match, connection, or content on the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KRRCH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Krrch from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Krrch operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
